Debora Spera

Currently residing in Spain but was born in Argentina where she studied at the National School of Fine Arts "Lola Mora" and National University of Arts "Prilidiano Pueyrredon". As a teacher between 1991 and 2005 she began producing works and exhibited at numerous exhibitions. She moved to Italy in 2005 and lived there until 2018, working as an artist whilst offering professional courses in colour aesthetics and reconstructive micropigmentation.

Debora has produced a variety of works including paintings, drawings and sculpture. This large mixed media piece from 2009 is titled ‘Children of the Rabbit’. A wonderfully expressive playful scene of four young children. Evoking a sense of nostalgia, it depicts a scene of relations and captures the varying maturity of each child. The use of vibrant colours, material textures and scale presents a real sense of life and movement. The expressive facial expressions of each child just adds to the delight of this truly charming piece. Condition: The picture is generally in superb order with only a light wear repair to childs knee area.
