Gor Avetisyan (b.1963)
Gor Avetisyan is an award-winning Armenian painter and sculptor who currently resides in Czechia.
His works has been featured extensively in exhibitions all around the world.
The bulk of his abstract surreal work relates to human emotion, captured through his use of organic fluid lines and a kaleidoscope palette. Gor’s admiration of traditional Armenian carpet craftsmen and their use of dramatic design with tribal markings, transforms into his art. He has a wonderful ability to produce beautiful decorative paintings that mash bold visions with vivid colour and texture.
