A stunning American oak cased engineers tool chest, cabinet. Circa 1930s, with highly decorative & beautifully simulated reptile skin timbers.

The cabinet, with strap lever handles to front and sides, opens up by means of heavy gauge brass hinges that lock firmly into place to reveal a green felted, full width interior.

The front displays a full series of thirteen variable sized drawers and compartments, with each having their original, neat & orderly pull knob handles. These all fit snugly and deliberately into place. Lacking front cover.

The brass mounts to all corners further enhance this piece & shows the added craftsmanship involved.

A real gem with an enviable patination.

Condition: Solid construction & fully functional. All drawers extremely clean. Historic staining to felt (all clean to touch) Wear is commensurate with age but overall superb! Photos sum up nicely the overall condition of this piece.
