A striking 20th Century gold and brown Persian, Afghan floor rug. Circa 1960s. Crafted in wool and cotton with three central medallions and repeating geometric borders with encapsulated pattern detail. Tassels exist at both ends.
This rug sits equally well into a traditional setting as it does a mid-century modern one.
Condition: Minimal use and retaining great depth of colour.
