An impressive pair of 1930s ‘Thonet’ theatre/cinema seats originating from Czechoslovakia. The fixed frame with beautiful bentwood folding seats, contrasting enamel numbers 139 & 140 and original Thonet label show up extremely well. A superb and rare example, aged beautifully and retaining a rich colour and grain. The aesthetics are truly matched by its functionality & comfort.

This is an extremely versatile piece of furniture that would sit well in any room or setting. The seats remain neatly upright until sat in.
Condition is commensurate with age and use. Solid, robust and fully functional with only a couple of very small losses to one back edge seat. Overall superb!
