Vintage Oak Office Desk Chair 1920s
A lovely example of an early 20th century office desk chair. Circa 1930s. The chair is constructed of oak with open shaped arms, gently curved back and original upholstered green faux leather seat and back pads with a studded finish. All raised on square tapered supports and united by an ‘H’ shaped stretcher.
Apart from the wonderful aesthetics of this chair, it is extremely comfortable and pleasing to sit at. The upholstered seating is pleasantly spongey yet firm. with no sagging due to the underside being timber and not webbing.
Condition: Wear is commensurate of its age with a lovely patination. No rips or tears to leather. Solid, robust and fully functional.
