A lovely vintage, Mid-Century Parker Knoll ‘Statesman’ egg chair with swivel and tilt mechanism. The iconic shaped outline, buttoned upholstery and five pronged teak base, along with its striking and original classy brown velvet fabric, finish off this super chair.
Condition: The classy brown velour fabric is in quite remarkable condition given its age with only very minor wear. Swivel and tilt mechanism is totally secure and works as it should do, giving stability and freedom of movement. Has been sourced straight from a temperature controlled environment meaning the inner foam work will be free from deterioration through damp conditions. Sound structure. No sagging. No musty smells. Smoke and pet free home. A lovely example, in very good order.
