Antique, vintage & traditional cast iron ‘Britannia’ pub table with solid oak top dating to the early 1900s. The table base is formed with three legs, each with lion paw feet. At the top of each leg section is the very decoratively cast Britannia holding her shield in front of her. There is a tiered ornamentally pierced scrollwork platform cast to all three legs. The rest of the table is made up of detailed scrolling flowers and small lion head masks. Much of the silvery green paint has been stripped back to reveal an old gilt/gold finish. The blend of colour and patination is now quite an enviable one.

Condition: Super vintage condition, Solid, robust and fully functional. The table top has a lovely consistent blend of age related wear that has been waxed and sealed to retain its natural beauty.
