A lovely vintage industrial sixteen drawer steel pigeonhole cabinet, circa 1950s, retaining much of its wonderful original green paint and sourced from one of Pembrokeshire’s last remaining engineering workshops. The bank of drawers, each with an authentic and stylish pull metal handle and patinated brass index plate sits above four larger pigeonhole compartments..

A very versatile and well engineered piece of British furniture that smacks with character and will sit well in most interior settings.

At the bottom of the cabinet, on the underside of the metal plinth (out of sight) is a simple timber structure that raises the unit a few millimetres off the floor making it easy to place and manoeuvre without damaging the floor surface.

Condition: Solid, robust and fully functional. Any bronzed oxidation to the cabinet has been waxed & sealed into the existing green paint to retain its natural beauty. Wear is commensurate to its age and use with all the usual dings and scars associated with a working vintage piece of furniture. Some small metal loss to bottom corner.
