An impressive and highly decorative architects plans chest, consisting of four large drawers with each retaining their original bronzed copper cup handles and index plates, constructed of oak. This piece of furniture is in its original condition with no restoration, which means the wear that have built up with usage and time gives it the character it shows today. Very solid and beautifully patinated with various dings and scars. A true, honest interior design piece constructed around the 1950s. This is a substantial piece of furniture that can be halved in weight for portability by simply removing the four drawers.

Condition: Solid, robust and fully functional. All manner of dings, dents, scars and old paint splash have given this chest a consistency of character and charm throughout. Drawers are extremely clean and run smoothly and snugly into place. Photographs sum this piece up nicely.
