An impressive and substantial British MOD pigeonhole display - haberdashery cabinet dating to the 1950s. Solid oak Contruction with slide up and over doors and well-crafted concealed handles. The interior reveals an arrangement of fifteen similar sized pigeonhole compartments that support an array of storage or display options and opportunities To the right a neatly hinged slim side flap that opens and closes in a snug and deliberate fashion. No inner lock plate is present. The whole cabinet raised on Art Deco style legs that further accentuate its overall aesthetics and function.
Condition: Wear is commensurate with its age and use. Solid, robust and fully functional. Has dings or marks associated with a working piece of furniture, confined mainly to one pigeonhole. but not limited to. Please see photos. Overall, this is a super piece!
