Rare and impressive early 20th Century, Arts & Crafts manner over mantle mirror of good proportions Constructed of solid mahogany with aesthetically striking ebonised dome head, bolt like decoration to the surround face. The substantial build quality continues through to the well engineered softly curved bentwood top surround and neatly exposed old brass screws. The back of the mirror is a true refection of the quality of the piece. This one showing that the workmanship does not stop at the front.
Condition: small & neat historic inset repair to the top edge which only enhances the piece but out of sight when wall hung. The mirror plate appears very clean. The frame has a lovely build up of age related wear.
