A stunning solid oak, 1930s captains desk chair on a swivel and tilt mechanism, with beautifully engineered sweeping arms and slim slatted lathed back. Shown here sitting on a substantial quadruple base with authentic aged brass castors and bakelite rollers. The striking contrast between the original black leather seat pad against the rich honey oak frame sets this chair apart.

Condition:. Very light wear to leather seat pad. The webbing is strong and very clean which suggests this may have been renewed in recent years. The swivel mechanism strong, the tilt less tension.
