A very special mid 20th Century dining table / desk in the manner of French architect and designer ‘Jean Prouve’ (1901-1984). The table constructed with a ply top displays a riveted edge and a sloped, steel wrapped underside with metal trestle supports.

This wonderfully designed and engineered table displays equally well with a pair or a single chair, although deceivingly it has the capacity to house four Ercol sized chairs.

The associated design elements to this table are very much attributed with the renowned French architect Jean Prouvé who was involved with structural design, industrial design, and furniture design.

Condition: Wear commensurate with age. Small dings, dents or scars associated with a working table. Overall superb!
